To ensure optimal performance and long-term use of the air polishing unit, and to enhance work efficiency and operational safety, the device should be maintained according to the following guidelines:
I. Daily Maintenance
1.1 After removing the disposable protective blue film, promptly wipe the surface of the device with a damp cloth to keep it clean and prevent cross-contamination.
1.2 Perform a one-touch rinse before and after each sandblasting session to ensure the tubing is functioning properly and to flush out any remaining powder.
1.3 After use, pour out any remaining powder in the powder tank. Use an air gun to clean residual powder from the tank lid, tank threads, and inside the tank.
1.4 Rinse the air polishing handpiece and its connecting cable with water to remove residual powder. After rinsing, dry thoroughly to avoid jamming or clogging.
II. Periodic Maintenance
2.1 The air polishing handpiece must be cleaned regularly. Use an air gun, sand flow cleaner, or sand flow needle for unclogging. If clogging is severe, soak the handpiece in hot water for 15 minutes before clearing.
2.2 Clean the water tank surface regularly to prevent limescale buildup.
2.3 Regularly check and clean the water-gas separator valve at the rear of the device to ensure the air source remains dry.
III. Inspection and Replacement of Accessories
3.1 Shake the powder evenly before each use to ensure the particles are uniform and dry before pouring into the tank.
3.2 Before each use, confirm that air pressure, powder, powder flow, and water output are all properly adjusted and functioning.
3.3 Periodically check connectors on the tail line, powder tank cap, water tank, and air source fittings. Ensure that the sealing rings at these positions are intact. Replace any worn or damaged parts in time to maintain polishing and cleaning performance.
3.4 Before activating the water heating function, make sure the water heating switch in the settings is turned ON.
3.5 Before using the wireless foot pedal, confirm that two AA batteries are installed in the pedal and that the wireless pedal function is turned ON in the settings.
IV. Protection and Storage
4.1 Store the device and consumables in a dry and well-ventilated area to prevent moisture and corrosion. Protect the main unit, handpiece, and water tank from impact or damage.
4.2 The device should be flushed with water at least once a month for 5 minutes each time to maintain internal cleanliness.
