    US980 Maintenance Guide

To ensure the sensor's optimal performance and long-term use—and to enhance work efficiency and operational safety—please follow the maintenance guidelines below.
    I. Daily Maintenance
1.1. Before use, clean the sensor surface with a lint-free cloth soaked in 70% isopropyl alcohol. Disinfect twice, each time for 3 minutes. Let it air dry or wipe off any remaining disinfectant with a clean, dry, soft cloth.
1.2. Use a medical-grade disposable plastic barrier to cover the sensor head. Replace the barrier after each patient to avoid cross-contamination.
    II. Regular Maintenance
2.1. Perform maintenance at least once a month by checking labels, cables, and the device’s exterior for any signs of damage.
2.2. To prevent data loss, it is recommended to regularly back up the database and important images.
    III. Precautions for Use
3.1. While using the device, avoid simultaneous contact between non-medical devices (e.g., computers) and exposed patient connectors.
3.2. Do not place the sensor in an autoclave or ultrasonic cleaner.
3.3. Avoid spraying liquids near the connectors of the CMOS sensor.
3.4. When not in use, unplug the USB data cable from the computer to prevent the LED indicator from overheating.
IV. Inspection and Replacement of Accessories
4.1. Before use, inspect the sensor and control box for any scratches, cracks, or damage.
4.2. Ensure that the data cable is properly connected and that the LED indicator functions normally before use.
4.3. Regularly check that the power cable and data cable are properly connected to avoid startup failure or data transmission issues.
    V. Protection and Storage
5.1. Prevent electrostatic discharge (ESD) and electromagnetic interference (EMI) from other equipment.
5.2. As the product emits a certain level of radiation, it is recommended to store and use the device in a separate, isolated room.
