    SCAN11 Maintenance Guide

To ensure optimal performance and long-term use of the intraoral scanner, as well as to enhance operational efficiency and safety, the following maintenance instructions must be followed.
    I. Daily Maintenance
1.1. During scanning, do not pull, excessively twist, or step on the cables. Improper handling may cause connection issues or display abnormalities.
1.2. After scanning, detach the scanning head from the handpiece. Clean both the scanner handpiece and lens using clean water and 75% medical alcohol. Remove any dirt, grease, or smudges from the lens, then dry thoroughly with a lint-free cloth or swab.
1.3. Replace and disinfect the scanner head and protective cap before and after each use to prevent cross-contamination. The protective cap should only be disinfected with alcohol wipes. The scanner head can be sterilized in a high-temperature, high-pressure autoclave (up to 100 cycles).
1.4. Immerse the tip of the scanner vertically in CIDEX OPA solution (0.55% ortho-phthalaldehyde) for more than 5 minutes. Dry the scanner head and lens tip with a lint-free cloth before use. Prevent any liquid from entering the scanner tip to avoid secondary contamination.
1.5. Operate the device according to the standard procedure. Do not force shutdown or power off the software, as this may cause system crashes or database loss.
    II. Regular Maintenance
2.1. Clean the power adapter plug at least once per year.
2.2. To prevent data loss, regularly back up the database and important images.
III. Inspection and Replacement of Accessories
3.1. Regularly inspect the scanning head. If there are signs of housing cracks, damaged spring contacts, lens cracks, or severe contamination and wear, replace the head promptly.
3.2. Before each use, ensure that all cables are properly connected to avoid image lag, slowness, or disconnection during operation.
    IV. Protection and Storage
4.1. Avoid electrostatic discharge (ESD) and electromagnetic interference (EMI) from other equipment. Keep the scanner away from static ra
